Leadership is not a title. It is a behavior. Live it!
As a 13th great-granddaughter of Henry VIII and his mistress, Mary Boleyn, Katherine Fry grew up with a profound sense of history. Named after King Henry’s daughter, Katherine Carey, she grew up uniquely straddling two worlds; in one, a proud American, and all that this stands for, while in the other, a devoted Anglican, with great pride in her English Heritage. Katherine ultimately achieved a Bachelor’s degree in history, Summa Cum Laude, and a Master’s degree in Business, Magna Cum Laude, before entering the business world.
After working in London as a Series 3 licensed broker, Katherine returned to the United States in order to start her own company. More than a decade later, this company is known as Mediafy Communications Group, one of the largest media providers in the Southeastern United States. As a loving wife and daughter, Katherine is also well-known as a CEO that is absolutely devoted to her clients. Additionally, she is a regular web blogger, contributing to both Buzzfeed and Thrive Global, combining the lessons of history with the challenges of daily business life. Tune in here every Friday to read her blog, and to learn more about Katherine’s unique perspectives on life, history, and the contemporary business world.
Katherine Fry is a proud member of the International Association of Women. The IAW offers women the opportunity to network with nearly one million members at more than 100 local chapters.
My family coat of arms says “Day of my life.” I prefer to think this means, “Best day of my life,” or “Seize the Day!”
